Below, members include Erin Hourihan, McKenzie McIntosh and Terri Brooke, here with Children Youth and Families Department Secretary Designate Monique Jacobson. Child Advocacy Center (CAC) of New Mexico is the National Children’s Alliance Accredite Chapter that assists with continuation and development of the CAC model throughout the state, provides technical assistance to the CACs and multi-disciplinary teams, and facilitates a network dedicated to a coordinated & comprehensive response to child abuse.
Childhaven serves children and youth who have suffered from abuse, neglect and traumatic experiences. Our services are comprehensive, from 24-hour out of home care to the full spectrum of Child Advocacy Services aimed at investigating the abuse, treating the child and family members, and lending support and advocacy so that they may recover from their trauma. We serve children from infants through 21 years of age. We provide competent and caring services in an environment that is culturally competent, child centered, family focused and community based.
Since 1969, Childhaven has been a safe haven for child victims of abuse and neglect in the Four Corners region. Please join us as we continue to make a difference in the lives of children and families!
