More the Merrier Fundraiser was Postponed!

Due to heavy rain and lightening we had to cancel June 13th's "More the Merrier" fundraiser for the Childhaven Foundation. We are very disappointed but the safety of volunteers and participants is our main concern.

If you are a sponsor or had tickets to redeem at the event please stop by the Childhaven Foundation office located at 811 W Apache St the week of June 15 through the 19th to pick up your shirt or call Development Director Jamie Church at

Childhaven Cares!

Childhaven serves children and youth who have suffered from abuse, neglect and traumatic experiences. Our services are comprehensive, from 24-hour out of home care to the full spectrum of Child Advocacy Services aimed at investigating the abuse, treating the child and family members, and lending support and advocacy so that they may recover from their trauma. We serve children from infants through 21 years of age. We provide competent and caring services in an environment that is culturally competent, child centered, family focused and community based.

Since 1969, Childhaven has been a safe haven for child victims of abuse and neglect in the Four Corners region. Please join us as we continue to make a difference in the lives of children and families!

Reunion Visit from a Shelter Resident

Dear Erin
...I do think it has been a blessing that I was able to stay in Childhaven as long as I did. Had I not, I would have been a really troubled teen or worse, in jail... Click here or on the image for an enlarged view and the story.

Foster Care: Help us spread the word! Childhaven’s  main goal for this next year is to license more foster families to help us in our mission of Lifting Children from Crisis to Hope…Read about foster care, and about how to become a foster parent.
