Human Resources Coordinator, Full Time – Responsible for all aspects of human resources including: hiring, onboarding, completing background checks, processing/completing personnel/volunteer/contractor files, processing benefit enrollment, completing Worker’s Compensation claims, and employee relations. Youth Advocate, Part Time - Ensure intake and discharge forms and procedures are completed properly on each resident. Supervise Childhaven resident’s infant to seventeen year-olds. Tend to physical, emotional, social, intellectual and nutritional needs of children. Assist children with personal hygiene, life skills, cleaning rooms, laundry, taking care of facility and supplies. Forensic Interviewer/Family Advocate - Performes legally sound interviews of child abuse victims or witnesses of a crime. Responsible for the delivery of services to families, helping them to identify family stressors, linking them with community resources and teaching them how to access those resources. Is a support person for clients/families assigned. May include Forensic Interview clients and non-interview clients. Details here.

Mental Health Therapist, Full Time - Responsible for the overall clinical needs of clients. Provide individual, group and family counseling. Requires Licensure in NM (LMSW, LPCC, LPC, LISW, LMFT, LMAT, RN,CNS or psychologist/psychiatrist). Details here.

Primary duties include: Provide therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults (individual, group and family therapy). Maintain timely and accurate records of counseling/ therapy sessions, Service Assessments, Treatment Plans (Review every 90 days and make appropriate changes), and Discharge Summaries. Consult with collateral services (Social Services, parents, school personnel, probation office and others) who may have knowledge of client history/needs.

Job knowledge and skills needed: Working knowledge of child development, effects of trauma on children, and dynamics of child abuse, domestic violence and family dynamics. Effective communication and problem solving skills. Familiarity with community services and social services delivery system. Working knowledge of the DSM-V. Crisis management skills required.
